Now We’re in Fed Wait – Watching the “Hidden Sausage”

The market may have one more uphill run left in it. In today’s Peoplenomics ChartPack, our Aggregate Index is back above its 85-day moving average—the “line in the sand”—while the Magic Ovals and state-variance studies leave room for additional upside. The fast bulls are still ahead of the slow bulls. That keeps a rally in play, even as we question how much staying power it would have.

The harder question is what comes after that rally. Our continuing comparison with 1929 points toward a possible topping window before Thanksgiving, with early November bringing the first meaningful tests of confidence. Historical patterns provide scenarios to watch, and the coming weeks will show whether this one deserves more weight—or needs to be discarded.

This week’s 35-page ChartPack works through the evidence across U.S. and global markets, moving averages, trend channels, and our proprietary Bull and Bear Golem studies. The working outlook: room to rise, reasons to remain skeptical, and a calendar worth watching closely. A final rally can look reassuring right up until it stops.
